Restrict Showing the Last Username (Windows 2000/XP) Category: Home > Security > Login and Authentication
This restriction removes the ability to view which user was last logged onto a computer by clearing the username box on the login screen.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'DontDisplayLastUserName' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
