Require Users to Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete Before Logon (Windows 2000/XP) Category: Home > Security > Login and Authentication
This setting controls whether users are required to press Ctrl + Alt + Delete as a security precaution before logging into the system.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'DisableCAD' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
Note: Windows XP systems must be configured to use the classic login method for this setting to work.
