Specify the Response Time for Hung Applications (All Windows) Category: Home > Windows > Startup and Shutdown
This setting controls the amount of time to wait for a response from a hung application before the system task manager automatically terminates the task.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new String value, or modify the existing value called 'HungAppTimeout' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
