|Control the Font Smoothing Mode (Windows XP)|

This setting controls what type of font smoothing is used. This allows you to select either Microsoft ClearType or the standard anti-aliased fonts.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'FontSmoothingType' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

Value: (0 = disabled, 1 = standard, 2 = ClearType)
