Automatically Hide Inactive Tray Icons (Windows XP) Category: Home > Windows > Start Menu and Taskbar > Taskbar
This setting controls whether running tray programs should be hidden automatically when they are not active.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'EnableAutoTray' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
