Specify the Server Announcement Variation (Windows NT/2000/XP) Category: Home > Network > Servers
This parameter specifies the time by which the server announcement period can vary. This helps to prevent several servers from continuously announcing simultaneously, thereby reducing network load peaks.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'AnnDelta' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
