Specify the Schedule for Alerter Service (Windows NT/2000/XP)

This setting is used to specify how often the server checks alert conditions and sends any required alert messages to administrative users.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'AlertSched, ErrorThreshold, NetworkErrorThreshold' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
Note: By default alert messages are sent every 5 minutes, unless 10 alerts are pending or 5% of all network operations generate an error.
