Specify the System Crash Dump File Location (Windows NT/2000/XP) Category: Home > Windows > Troubleshooting > Crash Control
This tweak is used to specify the location where the dump file should be written after a system crash.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new Expanded String value, or modify the existing value called 'DumpFile' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
