Send Administrative Alerts of System Crashes (Windows NT/2000/XP) Category: Home > Windows > Troubleshooting > Crash Control
This setting controls whether Windows should send an alert to the Administrator when a system crashes.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'SendAlert' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
