Control the Windows Animation Function (All Windows) Category: Home > Windows > Appearance > Effects and Menus
Although the animation function can make animated Windows look good, it can also slow down your PC if you have a slower graphics card. This setting allows you to control whether the function is enabled or disabled.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new string value, or modify the existing value, named "MinAnimate" and set it to '0' to disable the animation or '1' to enable it.
Restart or log off Windows for the change to take effect.
