Automatically Expand Folders in Explorer (All Windows) Category: Home > Windows > Windows Explorer
When using Windows Explorer the selected folder is automatically expanded in the left-hand folder list. This setting allows you to control that functionality.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'FriendlyTree' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
