Change Wheel Mouse Detection (Windows NT/2000/XP) Category: Home > Hardware > Mice and Keyboards
This setting controls whether the driver should attempt to detect and enable the wheel on the mouse device. The mouse wheel provides rapid scrolling and other control features.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'EnableWheelDetection' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
