Show Filter in Active Directory Search Results (Windows 2000/XP) Category: Home > Windows > Windows Explorer > Search
This setting controls whether a filter box, which allows you to filter based on additional parameters, is shown above the Active Directory search results.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'EnableFilter' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
