Hide Anchor Window in Media Player (All Windows) Category: Home > Software > Media Player
This setting hides the anchor window which is normally shown when using Windows Media Player in compact or skin mode. It also restricts users from re-enabling the window.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'DoNotShowAnchor' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
Note: Requires Windows Media Player 8.0 or greater.
