This setting controls whether Windows Media Player will send a globally unique identifier (GUID) when communicating with a remote media source.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new Binary value, or modify the existing value called 'SendUserGUID' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
