Read Messages as Plain Text in Outlook 2002 (All Windows) Category: Home > Software > Microsoft Office > Outlook
This restriction is used to specify that all non-digitally-signed messages should be read as plain text. This is useful in avoiding a large number of security vulnerabilities caused by HTML viruses.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'ReadAsPlain' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
Note: This feature was added in Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 1 (SP-1).
