Specify the Small Memory Dump Directory (Windows 2000/XP) Category: Home > Windows > Troubleshooting > Crash Control
This setting is used to specify the location of the small dump directory which stores a small set of useful information when a system stops unexpectedly.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new Expanded String value, or modify the existing value called 'MinidumpDir' using the settings below.
Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
