Hide the Office XP Toolbar Help (All Windows) Category: Home > Software > Microsoft Office
These settings can be used to hide the toolbar help feature in Office XP applications. Shown in the top right corner it normally allows users to "Type a question for help".
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create a new DWORD value from the table below for each application where the toolbar help should be hidden.
- Microsoft Access AWDropdownHidden - Hide in Microsoft Access
- Microsoft Excel AWDropdownHidden - Hide in Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Outlook AWDropdownHidden - Hide in Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Powerpoint AWDropdownHidden - Hide in Microsoft Powerpoint
- Microsoft Word AWDropdownHidden - Hide in Microsoft Word
Restart any Office XP applications for the changes to take effect.
