Disable Auto Upgrade with Windows Media Player (All Windows)
When Windows Media Player is used it will periodically check for newer versions via the Internet. This tweak allows you to turn off this checking and notification.

Disable Recent Files in Media Player (All Windows)
This restriction will stop Windows Media Player from storing the names of the played media in the recent file list.

Clear the Recent Play List in Media Player (All Windows)
This tweak allows you to clear the recent files, URL history and radio stations in Windows Media Player.

Disable Processing of HTML Scripts in Media Files (All Windows)
This setting is an optional security configuration feature that you can use to turn off the processing of HTML scripts that are contained in Windows Media files.

Change the MP3 Encoding Rates in Media Player (All Windows)
These settings allow you to change the MP3 encoding rates in Windows Media Player. The default is 56Kbps which is quite low quality, this tweak allows you to add higher rates such as 128Kbps or 192Kbps.

Lock the Selected Media Player Skin (All Windows)
This restriction allows you to define and lock the Windows Media Player skin. In addition the user cannot switch the player to full mode or use any features that are not available within the specified skin.

Hide Anchor Window in Media Player (All Windows)
This setting hides the anchor window which is normally shown when using Windows Media Player in compact or skin mode. It also restricts users from re-enabling the window.

Disable Codec Downloads in Media Player (All Windows)
This restriction prevents audio and video codecs from being downloaded in Windows Media Player. When enabled it also restricts the ability to re-enable downloads.

Enable DVD Features in Media Player (All Windows) Popular
This setting allows you to use Microsoft Media Player to Play and Open DVDs.

Disable Media Player Upgrade Message (All Windows)
This setting allows you to disable the automatic Media Player upgrade message that appears when a new version of the player has been released.

This tweak allows you to remove the Radio Bar, Media Favorites and Finding New Station from Windows Media Player.

Change the Title of Windows Media Player (All Windows)
